Four-time Olympian Abdi Abdirahman recently finished 6th in Boston and 3rd in NYC in 2017. He has won multiple national titles in the 10,000m , the 10K the 10 Mile, 20K and Half Marathon. He was born in Mogadishu, Somalia, before immigrating to the US, where he graduated from Tucson HS and then went to Pima CC and the Univ of Arizona. He became a US citizen in 2000 and is a great ambassador for the sport…and very cool!
