Zumba is definitely Mutiara’s 1st fitness passion! It is the one fitness format that has kicked off her fitness journey, from being a person who was a group fitness phobic, who led a sedentary lifestyle to a person who led an active lifestyle to a group fitness instructor who teaches multiple formats.
Mutiara fell in love with Zumba as when she took it the first few times, she didn’t feel like she was working out! She ended taking Zumba classes everyday and as a result, gained more confidence in fitness, felt more physically fit and happy, and was able to go back to her pre-baby state. This is why a lot of people start their fitness journey with Zumba. It is a workout in disguise, and it brings results, physically and mentally. Zumba class participants have a lot of fun, dancing to Latin, International and top 40s music, while burning a lot of calories. When Mutiara sees her class participants having fun, dancing and smiling when they do Zumba, she knows she picked one of the most fulfilling careers in fitness.
Mutiara loves the post Zumba workout feeling and the physical and mental benefits it has given her so much that she decided to branch out and teach other fitness formats.
